White Unreleased
The thirteenth installment of Jack White’s Third Man Records subscription series The Vault will include two previously-unreleased live recordings of The White Stripes' first performances.
The package will include the Stripes' first live concert at the Gold Dollar in Detroit on August 14th, 1997 on 12” vinyl. The track list for the album includes “Screwdriver” and “Lafayette Blues,” as well as a cover of The Stooges’ “TV Eye.”
Vault subscribers will also receive a 7” vinyl record featuring performances of “St. James Infirmary,” “Jimmy the Exploder” and “Love Potion #9” recorded during the band’s first-ever live performance on July 14th, 1997 during the Gold Dollar’s open-mic night. In addition, a tote bag featuring The White Stripes’ peppermint logo will also be included in the package.
Vault package number thirteen will be available to all subscribing members until July 31.
