Fixing the hole in his head

Duff McKagan is having surgery on his sinuses because he developed a hole in the cartilage of his nasal septum. He says it's from his years of cocaine use. His wife, Susan, Tweeted: "I am thankful and blessed my man is alive today! Kids, don't do drugs! Say a prayer for Duff as he's getting surgery on his sinuses (a hole the size of a quarter from years of abuse). We must live and learn how lucky we are for our health and family and friends. Love you, Duff."

Ink not Mink

Duff McKagan appears naked in a new set of PETA ads. The ad's slogan reads: "Ink, not mink. Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs." Duff's wife is also featured in the ad.

New Reality

E! is producing a new rock-based reality series called "Married to Rock". The cast features Duff's wife, Susan Holmes McKagan, Etty Farrell, who is married to Perry Farrell and Josie Stevens, a model married to Billy Idol's longtime guitarist Steve Stevens.

Duff McKagan has replaced Eric Avery in Jane's Addiction. Avery says, "With equal parts regret and relief, the Jane's Addiction experiment is at an end."
