In a new poll asking people for their earliest childhood memory, the most common theme is . . . PAIN AND TORTURE. 35% of people said a trip to the DENTIST is the first thing they remember. The rest of the top five are birthday party, vacation, first day of school, and a trip to the doctor. The average age of people's first memories was 4.3 years old.
