In Brazil, an 81-year-old was working at the bar he owns when a robber came in, demanded money . . . and SHOT HIM in the FACE. He should be dead but the bullet deflected off his dentures, which saved his life. He's still recovering but didn't really suffer any major injuries.
In Washington, a man went to the side of the road to pee and was startled when another car drove by. He ended up falling down a 30-FOOT EMBANKMENT . . . and he was trapped. Fortunately, he managed to call 911 from his cell phone and about 45 minutes later, a crew was able to rescue him. He's being fined . . . $27
