John Cusack received the 2,469th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday afternoon.
Cusack's sister, actress Joan Cusack, as well as Dan Aykroyd and Billy Bob Thornton were among the stars who attended the ceremony.
Cusack, whose film credits include Sixteen Candles and Say Anything, joked to the crowd, "To the best of my knowledge, I've tried to screw my career up as much as I possibly could, but even with all my best efforts to screw it up, I managed to have lasting friendships."
Cusack's latest film, The Raven, opens Friday.
