A court in Australia had to choose a toddler's name after her parents spent two years arguing about it. The couple split up shortly before the birth, and the dad said that the name the mom chose was blasphemous to Islam . . . so he called the child by another name for two years. An imam testified that the mom's name wasn't offensive, and the judge gave her a name, so the poor girl's birth could finally be registered. Read more HERE

Lightning struck and killed a 54-year-old New Jersey man over the Fourth of July weekend . . . 48 years after his father was struck and killed by lightning. Stephen Rooney made a joke when storms threatened a family barbeque. He said, quote, "Don't worry. Lightning doesn't strike twice in the same family."
