Slipknot Pay-Per-View

Can't make it to Slipknot’s first-ever Knotfest next month? That's not a problem -- the band has announced it'll be offering a pay-per-view stream of their headlining sets online. “One of our long-time dreams is finally coming to fruition with the creation of Knotfest,” said percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan in a statement. “Our goal was to create a festival experience which screamed our vision. It means everything for everyone to see the live spectacle we’re creating in the flesh, but we understand some fans around the world can’t be at the show. We've now made it possible for you to be there in spirit.” Fans who pre-order the stream now for $14.95 at EventViewLive.com will get access to “Slipknot Saturdays,” which features videos of exclusive performances from the band as well as behind-the-scenes footage documenting Slipknot’s journey to the festival. “Slipknot Saturdays” begin on July 14 and will continue each Saturday until the first day of Knotfest. In addition to watching the shows live, fans will have on-demand access to the stream for 30 days following the event. Knotfest will take place in two locations. The first is in Iowa on August 17, and the second is in Somerset, on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota, on August 18.
