Celebrity Hoarder?

Slash is auctioning off his 1966 Corvette Stingray, two of his trademark top hats, a collection of his guitars. model dinosaurs, jewelry and the Guild acoustic on which he recorded Guns N' Roses 1989 ballad Patience. He says the Vette should bring in $90,000 "I have a bad habit of collecting stuff that I don't necessarily use (but) I know that somebody would love to have that car because muscle cars are very, very popular." A share of the proceeds will benefit abused and homeless teens.

Going Going GONE!

Maury Povich plans to auction off an 18 year-old's virginity on live TV. 'Jennifer' was raised in poverty and has gotten her mother's approval to go ahead with the auction. She says, "I heard my mom talking with her friends and they all said they wish they could go back in time and sell their virginity. This is an opportunity for me to make more money than people see in a lifetime." The National Enquirer says prior to her appearance on Maury, "Jennifer" passed a lie detector test.

OMG of the day

Sarah Palin is auctioning off a date with herself and her husband, Todd. The night has a starting bid of $25,000 with all proceeds going to Ride 2 Recovery - a charity that provides bicycles to wounded veterans and organizes bike rides to aid in their recovery.
