Do-Over

The Brooklyn Cyclones are giving Christina Aguilera a chance to redeem herself for botching the Super Bowl National Anthem. The minor league baseball team wants her to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at one of their home games this summer. Cyclones General Manager Steve Cohen says, “We’ve all made mistakes. But when most of us make mistakes, it’s not in front of 100 million people watching in every corner of the world. When a player makes a mistake, they usually don’t get a shot at redemption, but with a singer, that’s a different story.” The Cyclones plan to provide Aguilera with a sheet of lyrics “to prevent another mishap from occurring.”
