1968 - Stock car driver BUDDY BAKER drove into the wall at Smoky Mountain Raceway. As he was being taken away in an ambulance, the back door opened and he fell out. He survived that, too, and continued racing.

1971 - The "Ed Sullivan Show" was canceled after 23 years. GLADYS KNIGHT & HER PIPS were Ed's last musical guests.

1998 - "Sex and the City" premiered on HBO. It ran for six seasons until its final episode in 2004.

A woman in Pittsburgh got her arm stuck in the drive-thru ATM at her bank. The machine wouldn't give her the cash she requested, so she reached up inside to see if she could pull it out. Firefighters had to pry her out.

A guy in eastern Russia had his buddy bury him in a coffin under eight inches of dirt overnight . . . with a cell phone, water, and holes for air pipes. But it rained heavily and he died. According to the cops, heavy rainfall overnight might have blocked the guy's air supply, and trapped him inside. In other words, he drowned . . . suffocated . . . AND was buried alive. Supposedly there's an Internet 'craze' in Russia where people talk about this nonsense, and this guy wanted to test his endurance and bring himself good luck for the rest of his life.

What The Hell Theater 6/2

In Florida, a deadbeat dad REALLY didn't want to pay $4,000 in child support. So he called the police and told them he'd been robbed and STABBED, and men stole the $4,000 from him. To sell it, he even STABBED HIMSELF in the stomach with a piece of glass. The cops quickly unraveled his story . . . and now he owes the child support AND has been charged with making a false report.

In Florida, a man was BITTEN at his neighbor's Memorial Day party. And while no one at the party would admit to it, police were able to figure out who bit him . . . because only one woman at the party had ENOUGH TEETH to have made the mark. Every other adult at the party had no or very few teeth. The woman was arrested.

In Michigan, a man got into a fight with his estranged wife and ended up BITING OFF HER EYELID. She needed massive surgeries . . . and he could get up to 10 years in prison for felony assault with intent to maim.

The Super Mario Brothers are trying to break up your marriage. According to an annual study, up to 15% of divorces now cite VIDEO GAMES as a contributing factor to the marriage breaking up. In Brazil, an 81-year-old was working at the bar he owns when a robber came in, demanded money . . . and SHOT HIM in the FACE. He should be dead but the bullet deflected off his dentures, which saved his life. He's still recovering but didn't really suffer any major injuries.

In Washington, a man went to the side of the road to pee and was startled when another car drove by. He ended up falling down a 30-FOOT EMBANKMENT . . . and he was trapped. Fortunately, he managed to call 911 from his cell phone and about 45 minutes later, a crew was able to rescue him. He's being fined . . . $27
