Wizardry 101: Meredith College Professor Lori Brown is planning on teaching a Harry Potter course in the Spring of 2010 called "Muggle vs. The Wizarding World -- Examining Sociological Ideas in the Stories of Harry Potter." Students will be required to read at least two Harry Potter books and watch each of the Potter films. Brown says, "J.K. Rowling has created another world that has some of the same problems we do. It's not so hard to talk about issues of race when it's talked about in muggles and mudbloods."
