The Vatican's official newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, has declared Homer Simpson a true Catholic. In an article entitled, 'Homer and Bart are Catholics', the paper's writers say, "The Simpsons are among the few TV programs for children in which Christian faith, religion, and questions about God are recurrent themes.
