1998 - Korn served a cease-and-desist order to an assistant principal who suspended a student for wearing a Korn T-shirt. The principal and the public school system were ordered to, quote, "stop making defamatory comments about Korn and its products."

1912 - Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Guides, which later became the Girl Scouts.
