What the Hell Theater

A not-so-master criminal held up a convenience store in Key Largo Florida, and made off with a grand total of $2 for his felonious efforts. The website KeysNews.com reports the suspect, who disguised himself with a bandanna, gloves, a hat, and sunglasses walked into a Tom Thumb store, where a clerk told him he had to take the scarf off his face. The suspect responded by displaying a firearm, and demanded cash from the register. When the clerk told him there was no money inside, the robber turned to a patron and robbed him of $2 before fleeing the store and running to a dark-colored Saturn parked a block away.

Two Kansas guys apparently arranging a drug deal were quickly busted when one of them accidentally called 911 in the middle of their negotiations last Thursday night. KCTV reports Jesus Suarez and Jesus Santos, both 25, led police right to them, after the cops recorded their conversation as evidence and dispatched officers to pick the men up. "You could hear on the phone call the suspect saying, 'Oh, there goes the cops,'" said Leavenworth police Chief Patrick Kitchens. "So that brought the officers' attention to the two gentlemen." A search of the two suspects reportedly turned up $2,500 in cash and six grams of crack. The butterfingered bad guys were arrested and slapped with five charges apiece.
