Slash lends a hand

Slash is set to participate in a partial Guns N' Roses reunion of sorts on Thursday night by lending his talents to founding GN'R drummer Steven Adler's upcoming album. In a Twitter message posted Wednesday, the riff master wrote, "Looking forward to laying down some guitars on a song for Steven Adler's new record tomorrow night."

In 2010, Slash tapped Adler to play drums on a track for his self-titled debut solo effort. The song, "Baby Can't Drive," which also featured Alice Cooper, Red Hot Chili Peppers bass player Flea and ex-Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, appeared on an expanded version of Slash that UK magazine Classic Rock put out.

Meanwhile, Slash posted another tweet on Wednesday revealing that he would be starting rehearsals on Thursday for his tour in support of his upcoming solo album, Apocalyptic Love, which will be released on May 22.

"Sharpening my tools as I write this," Slash wrote. "Preparing for battle, so to speak."

Slash's upcoming tour itinerary kicks off with a March 23 concert in Toronto. Check out all of his shows at SlashOnline.com.
