New Bizkit

Limp Bizkit recently announced they'll soon be releasing their first single through their new record label, Cash Money Records. Titled “Ready to Go,” the track features a collaboration with label mate Lil Wayne.

"It sounds like a monster; it literally sounds dangerous," frontman Fred Durst told Billboard.com. "It sounds like that left of center, that place of discomfort that created rock 'n' roll, created the [heavy] metal, where it all spawned from."

While Durst previously stated that the song would be released sometime this week, he admitted that the track still needs some work. "I want to get it out there soon, as soon as we can," explained Durst. "The song is already done for the most part. I've got a couple little things I might poke around or punch in on my verse. And I want their guys to take a crack at the mix."

The singer also revealed that once “Ready to Go” is finished, it will be probably be available for free download. "We want to let everybody know this is just an introduction, just a taste of what throwing these two dudes together for five minutes can do," said Durst. "Now that we're living together, now that we're married, we'll see what happens when we start doing more. I'm very excited."

In addition to releasing the track online, Durst noted that his next priority is to make a video for it as quickly as possible.
