No Rage for Rush

Following in the footsteps of Rush and Peter Gabriel, guitarist Tom Morello has demanded that Rage Against the Machine’s music be pulled from Rush Limbaugh's talk-radio program.

"Rush Limbaugh played 'Sleep Now in the Fire' as a bumper on his show [on Thursday]," Morello told Rolling Stone. "Our response: 'Hey Jackass, stop using our music on your racist, misogynist, right-wing clown show." Morello also tweeted his response to his Twitter followers.

Limbaugh has received widespread criticism, and his show has lost numerous sponsors, since he made derogatory comments about Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke last month. The conservative host referred to Fluke as a "slut" and a "prostitute" after she testified before Congress, calling for health care plans to cover the cost of contraceptives. Limbaugh has since apologized for his comments.
