After neighbors called the cops on him, a Chaska, Minnesota man was given a ticket for cursing at his cat. WCCO reported on Thursday the unidentified man -- who had prior disorderly conduct complaints against him -- admitted to cops he was indeed giving his cat a tongue lashing. His excuse was that "he's human." Officers handed him a new citation for disorderly conduct.
Likely using up most of its nine lives, a white cat named Sugar survived a 19-story fall from a high-rise apartment window in Boston. The Animal Rescue League estimates Sugar plummeted between 150 and 200 feet, according to WBZ. A vet says Sugar was saved serious injury by assuming the "flying squirrel position" -- splaying its body out so it acted like a parachute. The kitty suffered bruised lungs, but no broken bones. Cat owner Brittany Kirk is calling Sugar's feat "a miracle."
