You're being BUZZED!

Have you ever wished to combine the coolness of body art with the coolness of cellphones? Probably not, but cellular company Nokia did. According to Australia's Herald Sun, the company has patented the technology that would allow wearers to feel vibrating alerts from their phones on their skin through tattoo ink made up of magnetic compounds.

According to the patent, "The perceivable stimulus may comprise vibration, a vibration on the image on a user's skin, for example."

It's unknown why this quantum leap is being undertaken over the usual method of feeling the vibration from your phone in your pocket, but out of the box thinking like this could help explain why Nokia lost a reported $1.4 billion in the third quarter of 2011.
