Fances Bean: "Twitter should ban my mother."

Frances Cobain -- the daughter of Hole frontwoman Courtney Love and late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain -- on Thursday waded into the war of words raging between her mother and Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl.

Two days after a Twitter rant in which Love accused Grohl of essentially groping her daughter -- an accusation Grohl denied -- Frances released a statement saying, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."

Frances went on to add, "Twitter should ban my mother."

As previously reported, Love posted a series of tweets on Tuesday night from her private Twitter account, @cbabymichelle, writing that Grohl is "sexually obsessed" with Kurt and noted that she received information from a driver who claimed that Grohl had "his hands all over" Frances while the two were in his car.

Despite a statement from Grohl saying that Love’s “accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue,” Love told the New York Daily News on Wednesday that she was “not going to retract anything.” She added that Grohl “used to consistently hit on me back in the day” and “slept with three of my bass players,” hinting that Grohl had sexual relations with ex-Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur.

Love also says she’s still upset about last year's Muppets film, which she felt "raped" Kurt's memory, with its inclusion of a barbershop quartet performance of Nirvana's biggest hit, "Smells Like Teen Spirit." “We got no money from The Muppets, we got nothing,” notes Love. “It made [Muppets writer/actor] Jason Segel feel special, but Dave knows Kurt wouldn’t have wanted to be a Muppet.”
