Puddle of Mudd frontman in trouble

Wes Scantlin, the frontman for Puddle of Mudd, is in more trouble in connection with a felony drug arrest in California back in January. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office has confirmed that the powder cops allegedly found with Scantlin during a traffic stop was cocaine.

As previously reported, police stated on January 12th that they found a "controlled substance" to be in Scantlin's possession, along with pills, during a traffic stop in which he was determined to be under the influence.

The DA's office made no mention of the pills in the new official complaint, TMZ reports, but the singer was slapped with a pair of misdemeanors -- driving without a license and being under the influence of a controlled substance -- in addition to the cocaine charge. If convicted on all charges, Scantlin could get four-and-a-half years in prison.

Scantlin has pleaded not guilty and is expected to appear in court this week, according to the gossip site.
